Improv Against Humanity and Improv Fight Club take over AniRevo2017: Summer on August 5!

Anime, manga, cosplay and comedy! The Fictionals are live at AniRevo2017: Summer with two hilarious shows on August 5, and you’re invited to join the fun!

Start your morning off with laughs with Vancouver Improv Fight Club: Anime Apocalypse from 10 to 11 am in Meeting Rooms 109 / 110! We’re joined by our friends The Radical and Union Jacked for a 60-minute battle royale, and you decide the comedy champions!

Then we present an epic edition of Improv Against Humanity from 4 to 5 pm in Meeting Rooms 118/119/120! Sign-up for your chance to play CAH live onstage, win sweet prizes, and perhaps be crowned the most horrible person of AniRevo2017: Summer! This is our only IAH show of the summer, so don’t miss out!

This is Anime Revolution‘s sixth annual event at the Vancouver Convention Centre and it’s shaping up to be their biggest yet, with three days amazing guests, surprises, and boatloads of memories. AniRevo2017: Summer is at Vancouver Convention Centre West (1055 Canada Place) from August 4 to 6, and we’re excited to be a part of the action.

Diana Frances joins the cast of Improv Against Humanity: Valentine’s Vengeance on February 8

The Fictionals are excited to announce that this month’s #IAHatRIO special guest is our long-time friend Diana Frances!

Diana is a Vancouver born and raised comedian who now calls Toronto home. As an improviser, Diana is an alumni of The Vancouver TheatreSports League and is the co-owner of Rock Paper Scissors and Leave it to Cleavage. As a writer, Diana is currently working on Corner Gas Animated, (The Comedy Network) The Smartass-ociates (CBC Comedy) and recently wrote on The Beaverton (Comedy Network), Still Standing (CBC) and The Irrelevant Show (CBC Radio). She is an alumni of the Canadian Film Centre Primetime TV Writing Program, and her first feature film script called The Offer goes to camera in Kitchener this March.

Come welcome Diana back to the land of salty air and rainy skies on February 8 at The Rio Theatre! Tickets are on sale now!

Heads up, Vancouver Anime fans! The Fictionals are performing two shows at AniRevo2016: Summer, and we want you to join the action!

Anime Revolution is Vancouver’s largest and fasting growing Anime Convention. Anime, manga, cosplay and Japanese Culture will be celebrated at Vancouver Convention Centre from August 5 to 7, 2016, and we’re excited to be a part of the festivities.

First up is The Improvised Adventures of Anime Revolution on Friday, August 5 from 7:30-8:30 pm in Ballroom B. Come enjoy a packed hour of laughs inspired by AniRevo, with improv games, sweet prizes and more!

Then stick around on Saturday, August 6 for Improv Against Humanity: AniRevo Apocalypse from 7:30-8:30pm in Meeting Room #1. Contestants from the live audience will play Cards Against Humanity for the chance to win epic prizes, while The Fictionals & Friends bring the card combinations to life!
