San Aung brings stand-up style to Pop-Up Comedy Jam on January 3

Pop-Up Comedy Jam on January 3 at Cafe Deux Soleils kicks off an exciting 2017 for The Fictionals! And to help heat up the new year, we’re bringing stand-up comedian San Aung to the party!

San Aung is what happens when you combine a sheltered upbringing with terribly inappropriate parents. He’s been performing comedy for nearly a decade, and has built a reputation as a rising star and a reliable drinking buddy. San is a regular at Yuk Yuks and on Comedy Shocker, and co-produces Showcase Sundays at Belmont Bar!

Pop-Up Comedy Jam also features a mix of improvisers from across Vancouver performing classic improv games and modern comedy hits! Doors at 7:30 pm, show at 8:00 pm, and tickets just $7 or $5 for students! More info on Hot Improv Tuesdays here!

Whose Line Is It Anyways coming back? So declares Colin Mochrie on Twitter

So we woke up this beautiful Friday morning to this on Colin Mochrie’s twitter feed…

Can it be true – Whose Line Is It Anyways is coming back? The reason why so many of us fell in love with improv in the first place is coming back?

It’s a month too soon to be an April Fool’s joke, so it must be true! Colin, give us the deets when you have them!

And have we shared this photo of our Daniel and Chip with Colin backstage at the recent big Vancouver TheatreSports’ League fundraiser? Because that’s pretty awesome too!
