Vancouver Improv Fight Club celebrates the month of love on Tuesday, February 11 at Cafe Deux Soleils. Joining us for Valentine’s Day Destruction is special guest stand-up Nina Wilder!

Nina Wilder is a producer, actor, stand-up comedian and a personal trainer. She is the producer of Begbie Comedy Nights at Judge Begbie’s Tavern in New Westminster. She is also the co-producer of Comedy Feud: Millenials vs Boomers around Metro Vancouver. In her spare time, she writes, works out and waters her two teenage plants. They just grow up so fast don’t they?

Nina Wilder will perform a stand-up set at Cafe Deux Soleils that will inspire our two Vancouver Improv Fight Club teams! We also want to hear your Valentine’s Day tales! Do you have stories of love that can inspire the comedians? Bring that special someone to enjoy the laughs!

Vancouver Improv Fight Club welcomes Lydia Rickards to Cafe Deux Soleils on October 8

Vancouver Improv Fight Club returns to Cafe Deux Soleils on Tuesday, October 8 for another edition of Hardcore Hilarity! Joining us for a special guest stand-up set is the hilarious Lydia Rickards!

Lydia Rickards has performed all over the world, including Fringe World Festival in Perth, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and various UK festivals. She was shortlisted in the the BBC New Comedy Award on BBC Radio 4, was a semi-finalist in the 2018 Yuk Off at Yuk Yuks, and was the Undercard Champion of Roast Battle Vancouver. Lydia has entertained on shows and stages all over Vancouver.

Lydia will perform stand-up sets that will inspire our two VIFC teams for their long-form sets! Also onstage for #HardcoreHilarity are Scott Antifave, Mark Sears, Taylor Ray, Claire Pollock, and William Vaughn versus Patrick Dodd, Brad Duffy, Jacki Gunn, Jeff Cooper and Tia Jeanette. Alan Pavlakocis will be referee and host.

Keep your fall funnies going with Pop-Up Comedy Jam at Cafe Deux Soleils on October 1! Our special guest stand-up this month is K.C. Novak!

K.C. Novak is a stand up and comedic writer based out of Vancouver. K.C. was a feature performer at the SheDot Comedy Festival in Toronto in 2017 and 2018, competed in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and is a regular riffer with Gentlemen Hecklers. K.C. was also the Vancouver Roast Battle Champion from December 2018 to July 2019, and performs regularly around the city.

K.C.’s stand-up and your suggestions will power our improvisers, so come laugh the night away! Hot Improv Tuesdays in Vancouver on October 1 starts at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), and tickets are just $7 or $5 for students!
