Janice Bannister is an international headliner who hails from New Westminster via the West Kootenays. She is a two time winner of BC’s Funniest Female, and has been featured on CBC, CTV and the Women’s Network, along with Vancouver International Comedy Festival, and JFL Northwest. She has toured with the “I am Woman Hear Me Laff” (2014 & 2018), and the HA Ha Sisterhood.
She is currently a producer of numerous comedy events including the “F is for Funny” series, The “Mother of All” Comedy shows, and BC’s Funniest Female Competition (2014-current). Janice is also “Comedy Momma” to over 732 comedy students that she has worked with in her Laughter Zone 101 stand-up comedy classes. She also teaches an Arts and Brain Fitness, and Stand-up comedy classes for SFU Continuing Studies.
Janice’s stand-up will inspire the improvisers along with your suggestions, so come join the fun! Hot Improv Tuesdays on July 2 starts at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), and tickets are just $7 or $5 for students!
