Doors to Hot Improv Tuesdays at Cafe Deux Soleils are at 7:30 pm, show starts at 8 pm! Tickets are just $7 or $5 for students, plus happy hour drink specials all night long!

Impro Allegro: Shane Steward joins us for a comedy concert at Cafe Deux Soleils on November 20

The Comedy Concert returns to Cafe Deux Soleils on Tuesday, November 20! Joining us for Impro Allegro this month is Shane Steward!

Shane Steward

Shane Steward is an Ontario-born musician of over 15 years who recently made the move out to Vancouver. Since arriving he has performed his solo acoustic act and a one man rock show on stages all over the city. His sets consist of originals off his two albums, “HumanKind” and “The Beginning”, as well as metal covers of pop songs, which can be found on Youtube.

Shane will play a few songs, plus help inspire scenes during Hot Improv Tuesdays! Come join the fun at Cafe Deux Soleils! Doors at 7:30 pm, show at 8 pm. Tickets just $7 or $5 at the door!

Impro Allegro welcomes poet and musician Jess Tollestrup for a comedy mashup on January 23

Laughter is music for the soul! Come enjoy the best of both worlds on January 23 when we welcome Jess Tollestrup to Improv X Music aka Impro Allegro at Cafe Deux Soleils!

Jess Tollestrup

Jess Tollestrup is a travelling musician and poet currently based out of Vancouver. They had a busy and successful 2017, including the release of their debut EP “The Pluto Year” and chapbook “Metafesto”, receiving a scholarship for the Hornby Island Blues Workshop, touring from Victoria to Peterborough, and performing poetry on a national and international stage.

At the Edmonton Fringe Festival in August, Jess performed with comedy troupe “Sorry Not Sorry” for their three shows, including a heart-wrenching gut-busting 5-day completely improvised DnD campaign.

We’re teaming up with Jess for a variety of musical games and improv formats on January 23, and you’re invited to join the fun at Cafe Deux Soleils! Doors at 7:30 pm, and The Comedy Mashup Show starts at 8 pm. Tickets just $7 or $5 for students.
