The Wedding Party charges into Vancouver Improv Fight Club on January 10 at Cafe Deux Soleils

You are cordially invited to a comedy bash at Cafe Deux Soleils. The next Vancouver Improv Fight Club features the showdown between The Wedding Party and The Questioneers on January 10!

The Wedding Party is comprised of William Dunn, Tia Glenn-Cooke, Connor Langford, Robyn Roukema, Taylor Strom, and Suzi Wadge. They are recent graduates of Instant Theatre’s first Incubator session. For the members of The Wedding Party, it was love at first sight, and they have appropriately come to specialize in longform narratives about love and relationships. Their favourite forms include romantic comedies, high society parties, and their current goal, an improvised Jane Austen piece. The Wedding Party were also winners of the current Instant Theatre Cagematch season.

Who will win in the comedy showdown at Cafe Deux Soleils? Join us on January 10 to decide for yourself. Doors at 7:30 pm, action starts at 8 pm. Tickets just $7 or $5 for students.

Long Form Jamboree on November 22 a chance for Vancouver improvisers to test drive new comedy

Armando. Domino. Harold. Improv comedy has many long form variations, and The Fictionals are bringing them together at Cafe Deux Soleils in our new Long Form Jamboree!

If you’re a Vancouver improviser with at least three months of class & stage experience, we invite you to join us on November 22 and the fourth Tuesday of every month for our new open jam! Free to attend and no Long Form experience is necessary; each session will be directed and a talkback will occur after each set! And everyone is welcome to watch and laugh!

Sign-up at 9:30 pm after Hot Improv Tuesdays –  we’ll be working on classics like 3, 2, 1… plus trying out a new Lost Keys format and more! All in a fun and supportive environment!
