“This high jinks-filled interactive improv series put on by The Fictionals troupe is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone… You can’t have more politically incorrect fun.” – Georgia Straight’s Best of Vancouver 2013
“(Improv Against Humanity) guarantees some great vetted fodder for laughs of the truly horrible kind… It’s great water cooler talk: go with friends and you’ll be debating over the best and worst skit, and your favourite comic of the motley crew. Every so often, a really great concept comes together and makes you seriously laugh out loud.” – Vancity Buzz
“@TheFictionals put on one of the greatest improv shows I’ve ever seen tonight! #IAHatRIO ****in’ rocked! Can’t wait for more.” – @brianrussell50 via Twitter Wall of Doom

From the twisted minds behind the award-winning Improv Against Humanity, the interactive Cards Against Humanity show, comes a brand new CAH edition built to showcase the most horrible people, places and things about the best city in the world: CARDS AGAINST VANCOUVER.
Since November 2012, The Fictionals have been performing Improv Against Humanity to rave reviews and sold-out audiences, including monthly smash hits at the Rio Theatre. Each month we are blessed to be surrounded by the most horrible people the city has to offer, but lately we’ve been curious: what other hilarious, horrible things about Vancouver are we missing?
That’s why The Fictionals are excited to create a special, free-to-download remixed edition of CAH appropriately titled CARDS AGAINST VANCOUVER, and we want YOU to help us build it out!
Is there a local landmark that deserves a place in CAV? Is there a YVR celebrity that you love to hate? What should the official dish of Vancouver be? If you have a BLACK CARD or a WHITE CARD concept card idea*, email it to fictionalscomedy@gmail.com with the subject line #CardsAgainstVancouver. We’ll choose some of the best, worst and most horrible and add them to our official CAV set that will be made available free for download in the Spring. Plus you’ll see us act them out live at a future Improv Against Humanity show!
But wait, there’s more! We’ll also be awarding sweet prizes from our IAH sponsors to randomly-selected cards that make it into the CAV deck, including a GRAND PRIZE of a special private Improv Against Humanity show for you and 15 friends!
Deadline to submit is Friday, February 28th, so don’t delay: email us at fictionalscomedy@gmail.com with the subject line #CardsAgainstVancouver with your best and worst card ideas (and with any questions you may have). And remember: Stay Horrible!
Help us spread the word about Cards Against Vancouver! Please use the hashtag #CardsAgainstVancouver and #TheFictionals when Tweeting, Instagramming and Facebooking. We love you all!
*If we recieve multiple entries for the same Black and White Card suggestion, we’ll credit each person on our official thank you list when the show deck is complete.
