The Comedy Mashup Show on July 24 is teaming up with our friends Bravely Told Games to present Cult Following Live at Cafe Deux Soleils!

Fresh off a hyilarious performance at Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo, Cult Following Live uses the hit party game to create new and ridiculous cults, with the audience deciding the one true winner! The  creative storycrafting card game was created right here in Vancouver, and is perfect for game nights, parties, and for deciding who rules in the After Times!

Plus there will be classic improv scenes, modern longform creations, and more inspired by your suggestions! So come on down – Hot Improv Tuesdays starts at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), and tickets are just $7 or $5 for students!

Acclaimed board game designer Jay Cormier joins us for Ask Me Anything Live at Cafe Deux Soleils on February 20! He will answer questions about his award-winning games, what inspires him to create, and more!

Jay Cormier is the award-winning designer of tabletop and party favourites But Wait There’s More, This Town Ain’t Big Enough for the 2-4 Of Us, Rock Paper Wizard, Tic Tac Moo, Junk Art and others. He has also created games based on Orphan Black, Godfather, and Godzilla. Jay teaches game design at Vancouver Film School and has created his own portable escape room for the corporate world. Also, he sleeps in his spare time.

Pop-Up Comedy Slam

Just in time for Wrestlemania season, The Fictionals team-up with Vancouver grapplers for a special Pop-Up Comedy Slam on March 29! The tag-team of improvisers and wrestlers deliver laughs from the top ropes, and we hear ring tales from ECCW‘s Ravenous Randy Myers and Christopher Cassidy!
