We’re excited to welcome quintuple-threat Harrison Houde to Cafe Deux Soleils on April 30 for Hot Improv Tuesdays! The actor, writer, director, producer and musician joins us for a mix of improv games, plus will help us kick off an Ask Me Anything session!
Harrison hosted three seasons of the educational children’s science show, Finding Stuff Out, for which he won a Canadian Screen Award. He starred as Harrison as Scaredy in Spooksville, and Bowie Sherman in YTV’s & Netflix original sitcom Some Assembly Required for which he got nominated for a Young Artist Award. He has also appeared in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, iZombie, and The Hollow. Houde has also started a production company – Houde Entertainment Inc. – developing various projects he has a passion for.
Harrison has also been performing improv for the past few years. He began training with Blind Tiger Comedy in Vancouver, then continued in Los Angeles studying at the world famous Groundlings, and Upright Citizens Brigade. He also has studied with Jake Jabbour and performed multiple shows with several teams at WeImprov around improv venues in Los Angeles.
We need your suggestions to inspire out comedians, plus your burning questions to inspire our long-form jam in the second half! Hot Improv Tuesdays at Cafe Deux Soleils on Tuesday, April 30 starts at 8 pm, and tickets are just $7 or $5 for students!
