Hey Horrible People, the wonderful Jan Bannister and Laughter Zone 101 has invited us to perform a special edition of Improv Against Humanity at the Anvil Centre on Friday, October 11! We want you all to be there!
Doors open at 7 pm, with the show starting at 8 pm, Tickets are $18.50 (plus service charges), and ages 15+ are welcome. Bar services are available too.
Using the hit party game as inspiration, the comedians will create twisted and hilarious scenes. Swapping bodies with mom? Discovering Batman’s guilt pleasure? Anything can happen at Improv Against Humanity!

Comedy in the park! The Fictionals are honoured to perform in Two Gents of New West‘s OpenStage 2019 in Queens Park on August 17 at 12 noon!
OpenStage is a series of Saturday afternoons full of family-friendly activities and programming at the Queens Park bandshell. Supported by Arts Council of New Westminster and presented by Momentum Youth Arts, our 60 minute show will celebrate New West and summertime through classic improv games. Plus after us is “Emergency!!!” featuring dancers Charlotte Telfer-Wan, Kestrel Paton and Tomoyo Yamada;, and jazz vocalist Kaya Kurz.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Fun starts at 12 noon, so bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a fun day of arts!
The Brett Martin Show returns to Yuk Yuk’s on Friday, July 19, and we’re excited to be a part of Vancouver’s funniest (and only) live Late Night Talk Show!
Brett Martin and sidekick Sam Tonning will be hosting, and there will be a variety of hilarious acts and segments. Daniel Chai, Andrew Job, Rae Lynn Carson, Alex Parra, and Rachel Kent will be perfoming improv. Plus there will be stand-up by 2018 Yuk Off winner Steev Letts, Jake Reid and The World’s Greatest One-Man Talk Show Band, a special t-shirt offer from Delirium Tees, and more.
