Vancouver Improv Fight Club welcomes Ed Hill to Cafe Deux Soleils on January 14

The first Vancouver Improv Fight Club of 2020 is at Cafe Deux Soleils on January 14. Joining us for a special guest stand-up set is the hilarious Ed Hill!

Ed Hill was voted “Best Vancouver Comedian” by WestEnder and The Georgia Straight. He was also named “Comic to Watch” by Canadian Immigrant Magazine. Ed has appeared on AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live”, “Laughs” on FOX, Bite TV’s “Stand Up & Bite Me”, and XM Radio’s “Laugh Attack”.

Ed has also performed at JFL Northwest, Comedy Masala in Singapore and Live Comedy Club in Taiwan. Other comedy credits include Hong Kong Comedy Festival, NXNE, San Francisco Comedy Festival, and more. He has a comedy album out titled “Son of Smiley.” Ed will also be taping a one-hour comedy special in the Telus Studio Theatre at the Chan Centre on March 28.

Ed will perform a stand-up set that will inspire our two VIFC teams for their long-form sets! Also onstage for #HardcoreHilarity are Alan Pavlakovic, Tia Jeanette, Jacki Gunn, and Bryan Clark versus Rachel Kent, Coan Roik, Brad Duffy, and Holly Taylor! Jeff Cooper will be referee and host.

Hot Improv Tuesdays on January 14 starts at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), and tickets are just $7 or $5 for students
