Improv gets intimate and interactive on November 21 when comic book writer, podcaster and comedian Ian Boothby joins us for Ask Me Anything at Cafe Deux Soleils!
Ian Boothby is a Canadian Comedy Award-winning sketch performer, improviser and writer for CBC’s The Irrelevant Show, The Simpsons comic book, Mad Magazine and a cartoon writer for The New Yorker. Ian is the creator of the improv shows Write Club, Sword Play, The X-Mas Files and co-creator of the Jessie Award winning Free Willie Shakespeare. He is the co-creator of the Sneaky Dragon Podcat and Comic Books Live, and improvises with the Critical Hit Show!
Ian was our very first special guest at Hot Improv Tuesdays back in 2010, and we’re excited to have him join us as we celebrate our anniversary month! Doors at 7:30 pm, show at 8:00 pm, and tickets just $7 or $5 for students!
