Comedy worlds collide on July 25 when The Fictionals and White Noise team up for Improv X Sketch! The two troupes will showcase their individual skills, then combine for a Best of Both Worlds form at Cafe Deux Soleils!
White Noise began as a long running radio sketch show on CITR 101.9 Fm Vancouver. In 2016 it transitioned to the stage, performing at Havana Theatre, University of British Columbia, and the IGNITE Youth Festival. The troupe mixes satire and absurdism with dark comedy to create a fast paced and engaging stage show!
Onstage for White Noise at Cafe Deux Soleils are:
Caitlin Docking: The hero Gotham deserves.
Nick Rinke: Nick’s love for acting started when he was 15 and since then he has acted in many theatre shows around Vancouver. He is currently taking courses at On The Mic training to further his voice acting career.
Conner Nechelput: An aspiring writer, actor, producer, and one of the longest serving White Noise members. Connor is always looking to laugh and discover life’s absurdity, and his ambition is to challenge people to see the world differently through satire and comedy.
Kenneth Tynan: Kenneth has been performing with the White Noise sketch comedy group for over a year and he’s very pleased to be their current ethnic representative (being half Chinese.) Kenneth will be appearing in the 2017 Vancouver Fringe Festival and Red Window Theatre’s premiere performance in September.
Come party with us on July 25 at Cafe Deux Soleils! Doors at 7:30 pm, action starts at 8 pm. Tickets just $7 or $5 for students.
