Are you Vancouver’s most horrible person? Prove it on Tuesday, February 17th when The Fictionals Comedy Co. perform Improv Against Humanity live and unsanctioned at the Vogue Theatre for the first time in history. Fan Show presented by The Vogue Theatre, CiTR and The Georgia Straight.
After dozens of sold-out performances around Vancouver since 2012, Improv Against Humanity is moving into the Vogue Theatre to better accommodate demand for Cards Against Humanity comedy in Vancouver.
“We had to turn away nearly 100 people at the last Improv Against Humanity show at Rio Theatre,” said Daniel Chai, creator of Improv Against Humanity and co-founder of The Fictionals. People were lined up down the block, and telling us that we needed a bigger venue. We have found the perfect new fit at the Vogue Theatre.”
Improv Against Humanity at the Vogue Theatre will feature a bigger room, an all-ages environment (Mature Content Warning) and more award-winning comedy that has made the show a hit.
“Bringing Improv Against Humanity to the Vogue means shining a bigger spotlight on the Vancouver comedy scene as a whole,” said Chip Ellis, Fictionals co-founder. “The Fictionals are blazing new trails, and I’m excited for the opportunity to share the spectacle that is IAH with an even larger audience. It’s an honour and a privilege.
“Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the experience, we invite everyone to join us at #IAHatVOGUE.”
