Five Reasons To Come Enjoy Vancouver Improv Fight Club: Hip.Bang! vs Justice Pals TONIGHT!

Tonight at Rowan’s Roof, Vancouver Improv Fight Club is proud to present world-class Tag Team Action, courtesy of two of our city’s finest comedy duos – Hip.Bang! and the Justice Pals. If you an excuse to come enjoy a night of hilarious comedy mixed with head-to-head combat, here are five important reasons why:

1) The returning champions are Tom Hill and Devin Mackenzie, better known in Vancouver’s hot improv scene as Hip.Bang! The duo were a featured act at the 2011 Vancouver International Improv Festival, and both performers are also members of Pump Trolley Comedy, which recently made an appearance at the Chicago Sketch Fest. They’re ready to defend their title with extreme prejudice.

2) The challengers this month are Eric Fell and Shaun Stewart, aka The Justice Pals. The duo are the creative minds behind The Critical Hit Show: A Live Dungeons and Dragon Experience and the Justice Pals Podcast. Eric and Shaun are also performers with Vancouver TheatreSports League mainstage. These are battle-hardened veterans.

3) Tonight’s VIFC event will be the last matchup before our huge TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS, taking place at Cafe Deux Soleils on May 8th, May 15th and May 29th. Mark those dates down into your calendar and come down to the show tonight to see who lands the Knockout Punchline!
4) We will be giving away tickets to our next Fictionals show: Show Us Your Wits: A Game for Two on Tuesday, April 17th. Fun show + free stuff = awesome!

5) Tonight’s VIFC show is a special FREE COVER event, to make up for any inconvenience of us having to change venues to accommodate schedules at our home stage. Rowan’s Roof has an excellent dinner menu and drink specials, so come down and make a fun night of it!

As always, we look forward to sharing laughter with you tonight at Rowan’s Roof (2340 West 4th Ave.) Doors at 7pm, show @ 8pm. FREE COVER!

Much love!

~ The Fictionals
